Material

Chose additives to give your soaps a different look or for added benefits.

Activated charcoal - draws out impurities and offers a very gentle exfoliant, turns soap grey/black depending on usage.

Titanium dioxide - is used to make soap white, simply pre mix with a very small amount of water to create a smooth paste before mixing into soap.

Colloidal oatmeal - is used as a soothing agent for sensitive skin, it is also a gentle exfoliant.

Dried rose petals - adds a pretty touch to soap tops.

Dried chamomile flowers - adds a pretty touch to soap tops.

Dried lavender flowers - adds a pretty touch to soap tops. 

New Zealand sodium bentonite clay - also known as volcanic clay, creates a nice silky  soap that is also great for shaving.

Dried Kawakawa leaves - used in traditional Maori medicine.
