How it all began
🌿🧼 Sulphur City Soapery is more than just a skincare company... it is a passion project fuelled by the amazing duo of Jackie and Shannen Lunam. I, Jackie, led the charge in those early days, and Shannen provided the much-needed backup (but shh, don't tell her I said that 😜). From our concrete storage/workshop in Rotorua, New Zealand, we set out to create natural body products that are not only good for your skin but also good for the environment too 🌍. And let me tell you, we didn't shy away from a challenge... starting a business and opening a retail shop just months before the COVID-19 lockdown? Talk about fearless 😳! But nothing can stop us from pursuing our mission of making people feel good while doing good.
🤣👋 When my baby (aka my business) started growing faster than I could manage, I knew it was time to recruit some help. Enter Shannen, the Director of First Impressions 👩💼. With her superhuman customer service skills 🦸♀️ and passion for our company's mission, Shannen quickly became an integral part of the team, keeping things running smoothly and bringing a smile to every customer's face 😊. Now, I can finally breathe a sigh of relief 😅 knowing that I've got Shannen by my side, taking care of business like a boss. And with our powers combined, there's no telling how big this could get.
