New Zealand mud, silica and sulphur soap.

New Zealand Sodium Bentonite clay is composed of aged volcanic ash.  This clay is great for all skin types and is not only a natural and gentle exfoliant but also has the ability to absorb toxins.  It has astringent properties that help to shrink enlarged pores which make it great for cleansing skin. (works great as a face wash for problem skin). 

Sulphur has been used for centuries in the skin care industry for its antimicrobial properties.  Sulphur has a good reputation with acne sufferers because it helps to dry up excess oil from the skins surface.

 All of our soaps are made on site by us using the centuries-old cold process technique but with a modernised twist.  We have developed a unique formula that utilises the hydrating and nutrient rich properties of vegetable fats to produce a very gentle bar with a luxurious creamy lather that won't dry out the skin.   

 We cure our soaps for a minimum of 6 weeks to create a gentle and mild cleanser that will not strip your skin of its natural moisture.  Once fully cured the soap contains little to no water at all resulting in a hard, longer lasting bar.  Bar weight 90g.

Ingredients Olive oil, coconut oil, distilled water, sodium hydroxide, canola oil, cocoa butter, fair trade shea butter, castor oil, New Zealand sodium bentonite clay, pure sulphur powder (4%), silica.

Please note that there is no sodium hydroxide left in the soap once its ready to be used, bar soap simply cannot be made without using sodium hydroxide.
